In brief

You can read every page of Tape-Logic.com without an account. The site has no checkout, no comment form and no advertising.

Server records

Our hosting provider logs what any web server logs: the address a request came from, the page, the time and the browser. We do not join those records to anything else.

Cookies

The catalog pages set no cookies. Only the sign-in page for the site's editors sets the session and security cookies a sign-in needs.

Our own count

We count two things: visits that arrive from a search engine, and clicks on the buttons that lead to our retail partner. Both end up as daily totals. This count sets no cookie. To avoid counting one person twice in a day, the counter turns the visitor's IP address and browser name into a one-way code and deletes that code after three days. We keep no name, email or full IP address.

After a buy button

A buy button opens the product at our retail partner. Its privacy notice applies from there, and it can see that you came from this site. No name, address or payment detail from an order reaches us.

Writing to us

We keep a message to packline@tape-logic.com, with your address, until we have answered it. We run no mailing list.
